Hello, It’s nice to “meet” you. My name is Heather Randall. I grew up in Livonia, Michigan, where I resided until I was 27. I met my husband at a church in Plymouth, Michigan. We both signed up for the clown ministry team and fell in love at clown school (of all places). My husband and I have been married for ten years. Despite being prepared for the probability of infertility early in our marriage, God overruled the doctor’s prognosis and blessed us with three daughters and a son. While still in Michigan, we were commissioned into ministry. We have since served four churches total in both Michigan and Oklahoma. I often find myself surrounded by kids and I feel blessed to make an impact on their lives for Christ. I have also been active in Women's ministry and have a special heart for moms. I feel blessed to be a stay at home mom and take pride in homeschooling my children (one with special needs). I love my part-time job as a Marketing Assistant for the Old Schoolhouse™ Magazine and enjoy reviewing homeschool related resources as a member of their product review team. I also keep busy reading and writing book reviews on my blog for various publishers. Today, my family and I make our home in Coweta, Oklahoma. My hobbies include spending time with my family, writing, reading, creating and trading mail art, and blogging. My other blogs include: Well Read: My Charlotte Mason Inspired blog about homeschooling with living books. Art-Ucation: My art blog. There is a lot of eye candy and several links for teaching children to love and appreciate art. Novelized: At this blog you’ll find my personal writings, reviews and some of my artwork. Writing has always been a desire of my heart. When Chicks Hatch is my first published novel. Although taking care of my four children often competed with the challenges of parenting, I remained steadfast and completed my manuscript. I knew I had a story God could use and, above anything else, I wanted to be used by God. Ultimately, I was desperate for God to fuel my abilities to grow His Kingdom. I have seen God take disappointments and shape them into dreams. I have watched God use trials and heartbreaks to build some of the strongest and most treasured Christian examples in her life. I know what God can do and I hope to remind others of Him as they read When Chick's Hatch or hear me speak.

My Mission Statement

My mission is to: 1. Speak hope to women by pointing them to God, the source of all hope. 2. Inspire homeschooling moms to be a beautiful channel of grace and influence in their homes and communities. 3. To extend help and encouragement to women going through circumstances of doubt and discouragement. 4. To promote this amazing opportunity to homeschool our children by sharing my experiences educating three typical and one special needs child.

Fragile Women: How to Strengthen the Women You Know

This presentation will help you find effective methods for impacting the fragile women around you. I understand fragile. In fact I’ve even felt broken at times. Despite my personal encounters with life shattering situations like abuse, infidelity, post-partum depression, and a failed adoption, I have found my hope in Christ. My healing didn’t come with judgment or advice from others, but with gentleness, a firm grasp of God’s word, and true friends who determined to erase all judgment. We can be an encouragement to those in need. Join me as I discuss creative ideas you can employ to touch the hearts of the women in your life who are craving a little dose of hope.

Showing Forgiveness When Your Heart Is Still Broken

We all know we have to forgive, right? God’s word tells us to. Yet, how can we find the obedience to forgive when our hearts are still broken? In this presentation I’ll use a biblical foundation to explain the spiritual benefits of forgiveness while also addressing relevant medical statistics on the importance of forgiveness on our physical health. After learning why to forgive we’ll also explore some practical tools for reaching a place of forgiveness, even if you’re still hurting. Most importantly, I’ll point to the one who is big enough to hold all our hurts and heal those damaging emotions that we seem powerless to control.

The Fun and Flexibility of Homeschooling Year-Round
